The Rock Chip Repair Process

Inspect & Clean

Assess if the chip is repairable (bullseye, star, etc.). Place mirror inside the windshield. Remove loose debris. Secure the Glasweld bridge over the chip and align the injector for a tight seal.

Vacuum Air, Inject Resin, Cure

Run vacuum and pressure cycles to remove air and inject resin into the impact site. Place a UV light over the area and cure the resin. Once completed, remove the tools.

Fill the Pit & Polish

Apply pit filler, cover with a curing tab, and cure with a UV light. Once complete, remove excess pit filler with a blade, inspect for a smooth finish, and polish for clarity.
